Welcome to my web page, where you can find out more about my research activities and interests.

MY BACKGROUND
I am a soft-sediment ecologist interested in ecosystem functioning.
​
I completed my BSc (hons) in Marine Biology at the University of Portsmouth, UK. After graduating I joined the Benthic Ecology team at Plymouth Marine Laboratory (UK) where I worked for a number of years before moving to New Zealand to do my PhD at Waikato University.
Since finishing my studies I have worked at Waikato as Senior Tutor in Earth and Ocean Sciences, and have recently become a Lecturer, opening up opportunities to do more research.
